AMAZON Air, Amazon's budding air cargo business, ramped up its hiring efforts in July in a bid to realise its expansion goals that intend to streamline the e-commerce giant's logistical backbone.

Amazon earlier announced that it will operate Amazon Air out of 20 air gateways across the US by 2021.

It appears that Amazon plans to fulfil that projection, as hiring activity for jobs that include 'Amazon Air' in their titles surged in June, reported New York's Thinknum Media.

The July hiring push saw listings for Amazon Air move from just three openings to 12 by the end of July. Most of those positions are categorized as 'supply chain/transportation management,' with several involving operations.
