GERMAN shipping line Hapag-Lloyd has announced that further to its earlier notice concerning the Vancouver, British Columbia - Local Drayage under Container Trucking Act, issued on July 8, the positioning movement rate (PMR) charge is also applicable for truck moves to and from Vancouver rail ramps, in addition to the ports.

As a result, the US$50 Positioning Movement Origin (PMO) and Positioning Movement Destination (PMD) tariff charge will apply to both truck moves in and out of the port and the rail ramps.
