The 'Seamax Norwalk' was unable to gain speed and the main engine was overheating in position 48 21 233N, 123 21 44W, in the Haro Straits, British Columbia, on March 27, 2018, at 01.17 a.m. The vessel dropped anchor to avoid its grounding and the crew carried out repairs at the Constance Bank. On March 28 at 9.30 a.m. the vessel berthed at Vancouver and left again on March 29, next bound to Seattle.
