DANISH-OWNED freight forwarder DSV has opened a new Canadian head office and logistics facility near Toronto, in the suburb of Milton, 20 miles from Pearson International Airport, and close to Canada's busiest highway (401).
DSV Panalpina noted that the new facility occupying an area of 1.1 million sq ft is the largest multi-customer logistics facility in the country and is configured to serve both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors.
In August last year, DSV acquired Panalpina, resulting in the creation of the second-largest airfreight provider in the world - DHL currently leads the pack, reports London's Air Cargo News.
