Cosco, Wan Hai, PIL take slots on Yang Ming Asia-Mideast loop
TAIWAN's Yang Ming Marine Transport has commenced a new direct weekly service between Asia and the Middle East, branded CG2.
Cosco, Wan Hai Lines and Pacific International Lines (PIL) are all taking slots on the new loop connecting South Korea, China, Taiwan and Singapore with the United Arab Emirates.
Yang Ming uses six 5,500-TEU vessels to operate the service that takes 42 days to make a round trip, reported American Shipper, which cited information from liner carrier schedule database BlueWater Reporting.
The port rotation of the CG2 is: Busan, Qingdao, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Shekou, Singapore, Dubai (Jebel Ali), Penang, Singapore, Kaohsiung and back to Busan.
