THE Canadian National Railway (CN) has announced in a letter to customers that the ?illegal?blockade in Tyendinaga, Ontario and east of Belleville is in ?the process of being cleared,?adding that the company is working on resuming service in the region.

?Due to the unpredictability of the situation on our network, we are monitoring matters very closely and continue to adjust our operations to safely serve customers as best we can in the face of these challenges.
