FRENCH shipping giant cma CGM has announced it has taken delivery of the 7,300 TEU LNG-powered CMA CGM Saint Anne, reports UK's Bunkerspot.
The vessel is the fourth and final vessel in a series of same size containerships, joining sister ships CMA CGM Fort Diamant, CMA CGM Fort Bourbon and the CMA CGM Fort James.
'This vessel will join the ACSA 1 service, a key route linking Asia and South America, further strengthening global trade connections,' CMA CGM said.
As reported earlier this month, CMA CGM took delivery of the fuel cell-ready CMA CGM Escurial, the final vessel in a series of 10 LNG-fuelled, 2,000 TEU newbuild containerships.
