CHILE's Port of San Antonio has achieved a throughput of 146,604 TEU in June, a seven per cent increase compared to the same month in 2021, reports Beijing's container-news.
'The good numbers we see are thanks to the work carried out by our port workers, always in a professional manner and maintaining care for their physical integrity. In addition, the role played by customs agents, carriers, the maritime authority, and all the agencies involved must be highlighted,' said Port of San Antonio president Sally Bendersky.
Ms Bendersky stated that 'in current times, maintaining the maritime route with the countries that promote Chile's foreign trade is essential, also thinking about the development of the province's inhabitants. San Antonio will never stop on this matter, and we are moving forward.'
