THE new chief operating officer (COO) at the Frankfurt Airport branch of ground handling services provider, Celebi, is Christopher Licht who will be working with the chief executive to develop operations at the airport in order to strengthen its market position.
Prior to joining Celebi, Mr Licht held senior positions at airlines including Qatar Airways, and his most recent role was regional gateway handling manager, Europe, at Kuehne + Nagel, according to London's Air Cargo News.
Celebi is a Turkish company that operates at more than 40 airports worldwide and has been present at Frankfurt Airport since 2011. The company handles around 140,000 tonnes of cargo from more than 19,000 flights from 16 airlines annually.
