CHIEF executive of CargoLogicAir (CLA) David Kerr has decided to leave his post, a role he has held since March 2018.

According to a report from The Loadstar, the all-cargo airline will consolidate the CEO role into the chief operating officer position. As a result, COO Frank de Jong will assume the leadership role as well at the end of the month.

The London Heathrow Airport-headquartered cargo airline and subsidiary carrier of Russia's Volga-Dnepr Group posted revenue of US$200 million in 2018. Last year, the carrier's annual freight tonne kilometres (FTK) rose 36 per cent to 780,000 FTK, alongside a 30 per cent surge in block hours to 13,000. It operates a fleet of four Boeing 747 freighters.
