BLOCKCHAIN based air cargo network Freightchain, served by Thai AirAsia and Thai AirAsia X, has launched routes to Bangkok, Thailand, reports London's Air Cargo News.
Thai AirAsia is a joint venture of Malaysian budget carrier AirAsia and Thailand's Asia Aviation.
Freightchain was established in January 2019 as a subsidiary company of Teleport, the logistics platform of AirAsia.
'These newly opened routes will allow businesses connect to Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueng, both of which are among the largest airports in Southeast Asia,' said Teleport chief operating officer Adrian Loretz.
'The expansion of these new cargo routes from the Bangkok hub to popular Asean cities was created in response to the great demand for flights to the cities itself. This will allow businesses to also efficiently transfer cargo from the Bangkok hub to other cities,' Mr Loretz said.
