BEIBU GULF port in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region reported that its cargo throughput increased 12.86 per cent to over 129 million tonnes in the first six months of 2021, reports Hellenic Shipping News.
More that 2.6 million TEU were lifted at the port between January and June, up 22.29 per cent year on year. The beibu Gulf port consists of Fangcheng, Qinzhou, and Beihai ports, and is owned by Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group.
Currently, the port has 260 berths, 50 shipping services linking the Gulf and 300 plus ports throughout the world.
