Tanker was held by pirates for nine days

the captain of the 'Pantelena' said that the tanker in fact was hijacked on Aug 13. The tanker was held by pirates for nine days, all crew members were locked in one of the cabins, where they were given enough food and water by pirates. They left the ship after nine days. The captain didn’t say how tanker was released and on what terms. The ship had berthed in Lome, Togo, on Aug 24. The crew included 17 Georgian and two Russian citizen. There were 7.000 tons of fuel on board at the time of hijack.
