The China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) 2026 will be held from October 22 to 24 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. The expo is expected to cover an area of 50,000 square meters with over 350 participants.
As one of China's leading maritime and marine economy events, the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) 2026 will take place in Shenzhen from October 22 to 24, 2026.
Initiated in 2019 in Shenzhen and having hosted numerous editions to date, the expo will open its doors this year at the Bao'an New Exhibition Area of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center.
The coincidence of the expo with the APEC meetings to be held in Shenzhen this year is expected to enhance the international character of the event. Senior officials, business representatives, and industry professionals coming to the city under APEC are anticipated to combine their discussions on the global marine economy with the CMEE.
CMEE 2026 is projected to host over 350 companies within a total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters. It is expected that more than 40% of the expo visitors will consist of professional sector representatives such as engineering contractors, service providers, and system integrators.
With this structure, the expo aims to be not only an organization where products and technologies are showcased but also a B2B platform where commercial collaborations and procurement discussions take place.
For the first time at CMEE 2026, the exhibition area will be divided into eight thematic zones based on the 'core scenario solutions' approach.
In this context, the expo will highlight:

- Green shipping and low-carbon logistics,
- Marine electronics and information technologies,
- Marine ecology and sustainable development,
- Maritime applications of low-altitude economy,

With the new layout, it is aimed that buyers can more directly reach the technology and service providers they need. Particularly, green shipping, low-carbon logistics, real-time monitoring, and disaster early warning technologies will stand out as key topics in reducing operational risks in maritime transportation.
Simultaneously with the expo, the Global Marine Cities Forum will take place. The forum is planned to host more than 20 special sessions, bringing together executives from international maritime organizations, ambassadors and diplomats, executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, and senior representatives from finance and investment institutions.
The sessions will address global ocean governance, blue economy, and innovations in marine technologies.
The forum is expected to be an important meeting point for companies operating in international maritime transportation in terms of tracking new regulations and compliance requirements.
Located at the center of the Greater Bay Area, which encompasses Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong, Shenzhen holds a strategic position in terms of shipbuilding, port operation, and marine engineering supply chains.
Through B2B matchmaking and investment-financing discussions organized within the scope of CMEE 2026, the aim is to establish new collaborations that extend from showcasing technologies to commercial applications.
It has been noted that free accommodation and dining services will be offered to international professional visitors, with the expectation that this practice will increase international participation in the expo.
