Hosted at the Real Club Nautico de Valencia, one of Spain's most established sailing clubs, the regatta built on the foundations laid during its inaugural edition in 2025 and reinforced its position as a fixture on the sector's calendar.
The event drew together the shippers, forwarders, and cargo owners whose day-to-day work depends on reliable partnerships and clear communication. Away from the pressures of transit schedules, freight costs, and supply chain planning, the regatta offered a rare setting for the people behind those relationships to connect directly.
Competition ran across two days off the coast of Valencia, combining sporting intensity with meaningful interaction between the companies represented. Team MSC Spain 1 took first place, guided by a crew of Ignacio Ballester, Carlos de Castellvi, Ana Lillo, Leticia Martinez, and Nelido Manso.
MSC Geneva 1 finished second, with MSC Spain 2 claiming third. The results reflected a closely contested field and the collaborative spirit that organizers had aimed to build into the format from the outset.
Sailing, by its nature, rewards the same qualities that define strong logistics operations: coordination, precise timing, and the ability to adapt as conditions shift. For an audience whose success depends on reliability and clear execution, participants did not miss the parallels.

Ignacio Ballester, Deputy Managing Director of MSC Spain and a member of the winning MSC Spain crew, underlined the occasion's significance.
