    Jeremy Nixon to Depart as ONE CEO After Five Years

    Ocean Network Express chief executive Jeremy Nixon will step down on July 1 after leading the carrier since its inception in 2018, reports London's S&P Global.

    Mr. Nixon will hand over to Till Ole Barrelet, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of maritime and logistics experience. The carrier stated that the change is part of a planned leadership transition and will not affect customers. Mr. Nixon will remain as a senior advisor.

    Mr. Barrelet previously served as CEO of Emirates Shipping Line and possesses expertise in ship owning, financing, container shipping, and trade development across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.

    ONE will also adopt a new executive management structure comprising the CEO and seven divisional representatives, supported by six regional leaders. Chairman Jotaro Tamura remarked that Mr. Nixon helped establish ONE's corporate culture and market position.

    Mr. Nixon has been a regular speaker at the Journal of Commerce's TPM conference and is scheduled to appear at TPM26 next week. He stated that leading ONE from its founding has been the defining chapter of his career.
