Geodis, the global transport and logistics provider, is celebrating three decades of operations in Vietnam, the company announced.
The firm established its presence in 1995 and now employs nearly 200 staff across offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, with eight warehouses nationwide. Initially focused on European trade, Geodis has become a logistics partner for Vietnamese, European and American companies.
Vietnam's economy is projected to reach US$510 billion this year, with growth expected above 8 per cent, placing the country among the top 20 global trading nations. Regional President Eric Martin Neuville said Vietnam's progress has made it a key option for resilient supply chains.
To mark the anniversary, Geodis launched a brand campaign reinforcing its promise "A better way to deliver". The company has expanded its Long Binh warehouse, fitted with solar panels, and extended its secured road freight service linking Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and China.
Managing director Chandler So said the milestone reflects customer trust and staff dedication. He added that Vietnam remains a core strategic market and Geodis will continue investing in operational excellence, digital transformation and sustainability to support growth and contribute to the country's long-term development.
