DHL Group reports robust Q2 2026 results with double-digit growth in revenue and net profit, overcoming geopolitical and trade challenges.

DHL Group has announced impressive financial results for the second quarter of 2026, showcasing double-digit growth in both revenue and net profit despite ongoing geopolitical and trade challenges.

CEO Tobias Meyer attributed this performance to the Group's strategic initiatives, strong global network, and focus on efficiency and productivity.

In Q2 2026, DHL Group reported revenue of €22.37 billion, a 12.6% increase year-on-year, while EBIT rose 30% to €1.86 billion. Net profit reached €1.01 billion, a 23.9% year-on-year increase, with earnings per share at €0.91. For the first half of the year, revenue totaled €42.79 billion (+5.3%), EBIT grew 19.1% to €3.34 billion, and net profit increased 13.5% to €1.82 billion. Free cash flow reached €1.8 billion in the first half, with a full-year target of €3.0 billion.

The Group's strong Q2 performance was driven by higher shipment volumes within DHL Express, tighter air freight capacity, and rising fuel costs. Through disciplined capacity management and cost optimization under its 'Fit for Growth' program, DHL successfully converted these challenges into profit gains.

Amid increasing geopolitical tensions and shifting trade flows, DHL highlighted its role in helping businesses build resilient, flexible supply chains. Its integrated global network and local market expertise have positioned the Group as a key partner for navigating evolving trade dynamics.

DHL has raised its full-year EBIT guidance to exceed €6.5 billion, up from the previous projection of €6.2 billion.

DHL Global Forwarding saw significant growth, with Q2 revenue of €5.45 billion (+17.9%) and EBIT of €240 million (+22.4%). Air freight volumes rose 7% to 473,000 tonnes, and ocean freight volumes increased 7.5% to 856,000 TEUs. The division capitalized on favorable market conditions and supported clients in navigating supply chain complexities.

These results underline DHL Group's operational resilience and its commitment to driving growth while supporting global trade.
