Istanbul's Chambers and Exchanges convened on April 1, 2026, to discuss economic issues impacting the region, hosted by İMEAK DTO's Tamer Kıran.
The Istanbul Chambers and Commodity Exchanges Joint Meeting was held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the General Headquarters of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping in Fındıklı.
The meeting was hosted by Tamer Kıran, the Chairman of the Board of the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping.
Attendees included: Şekib Avdagiç, Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İTO); Erdal Bahçıvan, Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (İSO); and Ali Kopuz, Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Commodity Exchange (İSTİB), along with the council presidents and board members of the chambers and exchanges in Istanbul.
Economic Agenda Discussed
During the meeting, current economic developments, particularly those affecting Istanbul, were discussed. Participants provided evaluations regarding the challenges faced by the business community and shared their proposed solutions.
