One of the recognized figures in the maritime community, Attorney Captain Cahit İstikbal was honored with a plaque for his contributions to the book and documentary 'Anadolu Mavisi Atatürk’ün Gemileri' (Anatolian Blue: Atatürk's Ships).
The plaque was presented by one of the authors of the book, Ali Bozoğlu. Journalist Gökhan Karakaş, also one of the authors, was present at the ceremony. During the event, gratitude was expressed to those who contributed to the preparation of the work that sheds light on Turkish maritime history.
