The İMEAK Chamber of Shipping has added another important informational seminar to its 2026 program as part of its educational activities for its members. The seminar, titled 'Criminal Liability in Maritime Accidents (Captain, Company, Shipowner),' aims to shed light on the legal aspects of the maritime sector.
The seminar will be conducted by Fevzi Topsoy. Associate Professor Dr. Topsoy, a faculty member of the Maritime Law Department at Piri Reis University, will comprehensively address the criminal liabilities arising from maritime accidents.
The event will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00, with physical attendance at the İMEAK Chamber of Shipping Assembly Hall.
