Aerios launches a new module for air cargo charters, offering real-time pricing insights through CargoAi's data integration, enhancing quoting accuracy.
Aerios has introduced a Commercial Pricing Insights module for the air cargo charter sector, integrating CargoAi's live aggregated rate and capacity data to give carriers real-time visibility when quoting, reports London's Air Cargo Week.
The module provides live market rate comparisons, historical and forecasted trends, and lane frequency insights directly within the Carrier App quote builder. It aims to address the problem of outdated or incomplete data in charter pricing.
Aerios stated that charter carriers often rely on static sources or informal market knowledge, leaving quotes 'in the blind.' Additionally, larger carriers' charter sales teams typically lack access to live airfreight rates or lane frequency data, resulting in inaccurate pricing and missed opportunities.
The new tool surfaces real-time market insights at the point of quotation. Users can compare their quotes against broader market trends without switching platforms, viewing aggregated current rates alongside historic and forecasted data.
CargoAi Founder and CEO Matt Petot remarked that the partnership provides carriers with visibility on rate and capacity trends weeks ahead, calling it a 'game changer' for an industry long reliant on delayed data.
By combining live rate and capacity insights, Aerios' module allows carriers, brokers, and sales teams to generate more competitive quotes, optimize revenue, and improve decision-making across the charter workflow.
