DASSAULT Aviation, a manufacturer of business jets, has noted a surge in demand for aircraft maintenance services in the Philippines, driven by robust growth in the business jet sector, reports Manila's BusinessWorld.
'No doubt, the demand is growing, and I think it's related to the economy growing as well,' said WorldWide Falcon Customer Service vice president Jean Kayanakis.
In 2023, the Philippines' gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 5.6 per cent.
The government aims for a higher growth rate of six to seven per cent for 2024.
