LONDON's air Cargo News has announced the shortlist for the 2022 Air Cargo News Awards after a team of six industry judges reviewed a large number of entries for the nine categories that required companies to submit an entry.
New for 2022 is the Environment Award, which saw five companies shortlisted: Air France KLM Martinair Cargo, Cathay Pacific Cargo, DHL Global Forwarding, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals, and United Cargo.
The companies shortlisted for the Pharma Award are Brussels Airport Company, Changi Airport Group, Ethiopian Airlines, Etihad Cargo, and LATAM Cargo.
Finalists for the Air Cargo Project of the Year are CharterSync, deugro, Etihad Cargo and LATAM Cargo.
Contenders for the Best Freighter Operator, sponsored by Awery Software, are Cargolux Airlines International, Etihad Cargo and Qatar Airways.
Brussels Airport Company, Budapest Airport, Changi Airport Group and Liege Airport have been shortlisted for Cargo Hub of the Year, sponsored by Etihad Cargo.
Companies shortlisted for Ground Handler of the Year include dnata, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals, Swissport and Worldwide Flight Services.
Those companies shortlisted for GSSA of the Year are ATC Aviation Services, FlyUs Aviation Group and Network Airline Services. The sponsor for this award is American Airlines Cargo.
Companies shortlisted for the Innovation Award - Digital are Awery Aviation Software, Brussels Airport Company, CargoAi and Freightos. This award is being sponsored by Air France KLM Martinair Cargo.
Meanwhile, those companies shortlisted for the Innovation Award - Product are ACL Airshop, Joloda Hydaroll, Teksbotics and Temp-Ex.

All award-winners will be honoured by Air Cargo News and the wider air cargo industry at an exclusive awards ceremony to be held in the UK at the Runnymede on Thames Hotel near Heathrow Airport on September 16, where attendees can network with their peers and colleagues.
