GSA AeroCargo, part of the ECS Group, has landed a contract to sell the freight capacity of new national airline Air Senegal across its network.
The carrier started operating on a regional basis last year, running flights within Africa from its base at Blaise Diagne International Airport.
The partnership between Air Senegal and ECS Group kicked off on February 1 with long-haul flights to and from Dakar and Paris, using the airline's fleet of new Airbus A330-NEO aircraft, London's Air Cargo News reported.
Air Senegal also serves Ouagadougou, Banjul, Praia, Bissau, Conakry, Abidjan, Bamako and Cotonou.
'Our network and our in-depth understanding of and experience in the African market were major - if not decisive - factors in Air Senegal's decision to choose us as its GSA,' said ECS Group chief executive Adrien Thominet.
