AVIATION logistics provider Aero Africa has appointed South Africa-born Jade Da Costa as its new chief commercial officer. He brings three decades of experience in the freight forwarding and aviation industry.
Previously, Mr Da Costa was group director at freight forwarder Intraspeed Group.
In his new role, Mr Da Costa will be based in Johannesburg, and will head up the company's commercial activities and product developments in Africa, London's Air Cargo News reported.
Chief executive Christos Spyrou said: 'Da Costa is a great personality with an extensive skill set. He brings his experience and a strong track record in achieving substantial growth to the table.'
Mr Da Costa added: 'I am extremely excited with this opportunity in driving these innovative air cargo products into the African continent. I feel that with this new venture the sky is the limit.'
