THE 4,662-TEU Panamanian flagged MSC Fabienne was been taken under tow by 1,811-dwt French fire-fighting ship Abeille Bourbon, reported Kiev's Maritime Bulletin, which specialises in marine casualties.

The Fabienne with 1,178 containers on board suffered propulsion loss, owner had to contract Abeille Bourbon to be towed into Brest.



MarineTraffic reported Monday that the Fabienne was in the Bay of Biscay and headed for Gebze, in Turkey and expected to arrive on March 3.
