Israeli shipping line Zim Integrated Shipping Services (ZIM) has announced a new service that offers an 11-day transit time from South China to Sydney, reports London's Asiafruit.
The service will be called the China Australia Express and is set to begin in October 2020 along the route calling at Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and back to Ningbo.
It will deploy 2,500-TEU vessels and additional capacity and plugs for refrigerated cargo.
Advanced reefer units for monitoring and damage preventing will be used on the service as well.

'We see great opportunity in the Australian trade and believe our innovative, yet personal approach will be appreciated and valued by customers in this market.'
