CHINESE enterprise zhejiang Shipping is opening up an office in Singapore to expand its global business network.
General manager of Zhejiang Shipping, Chen Jin, said: 'Singapore has a superior environment for shipping industry which will support us to expand our shipping service scale,' adding that Singapore will be the forward position in the company's international development, and the gateway for Zhejiang Shipping to explore international business.
As at the end of 2022, Zhejiang Shipping owned and operated a fleet of 34 vessels, totalling 1.84 million tonnes, and is one of the top fifteen shipping companies in China's domestic market, according to UK's Seatrade Maritime News.
