TAIWAN's wan Hai Lines held ship naming ceremony for WAN HAI A13 at Samsung Heavy Industries Geoje shipyard.
Lim Eun Hee, LX Pantos auto sales team leader, performed the christening rituals, bestowing blessings on the vessel, good fortune and safe journeys.
Following the ceremony, the Wan Hai A13 was delivered at Geoje shipyard and embarked on her journey to Shanghai Port to phase in Wan Hai Lines's Asia to east coast of North America service.
Wan Hai A13 is the seventh vessel in the 13,100 TEU series signed by Wan Hai Lines and Samsung Heavy Industries. Six more vessels in the same series are yet to be completed and delivered.
In addition to naming the newbuilding, Wan Hai Lines also made a donation of necessities to a local charity Tongyeong Shinaewon Green Narae.
