Stena Scanrail sold to Turkey and renamed to Birdeniz
The "Stena Scanrail" has been sold to a Turkish shipping and renamed "Birdeniz" to sail in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
Jesper Waltersson at Stena Line confirms that the ship was taken over by the new owner in the middle of last week.
According to Jesper Waltersson buyer is Turkish and the ship will enter service in the eastern Mediterranean.
After the sale, Stena Scanrail named Birdeniz shifted to the Turkish flag.
