This is another step in the easing of the diplomatic freeze that beset Qatari relations with its neighbours after it expressed support for the Arab Brotherhood uprisings.
Two years after the break, Jordan appointed a new ambassador to Qatar, who had been withdrawn in 2017 in support of the Gulf-Arab allies.
Now Venus Air Cargo has been awarded for the Arab Republic of Egypt; Globe Air Cargo, ECS Group subsidiary for the United Arab Emirates; and Yusuf Bin Kanoo for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Guillaume Halleux, chief officer cargo, Qatar Airways, said, 'The resumption of passenger flights to these three countries is great news, allowing us to re-establish trade and support our customers.
'Along with the flights, we will also be offering trucking services to and from other offline points within these countries.'
The cargo carrier operates bellyhold flights to Riyadh and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, and Alexandria and Cairo in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
