PELICAN BioThermal, provider of temperature controlled packaging, has sold Korean Air Cargo on its Credo on Demand rental solutions programme, reported the American Journal of Transportation.
The agreement gives the airline's customers rapid access to Pelican BioThermal's range of temperature controlled packaging to cover both deep frozen and frozen applications, which include dry ice and phase change material (PCM) coolants, covering parcel and bulk sizes for single or multi-use/reusable, including rental through the Credo on Demand programme.
The Korean Air Cargo collaboration is the latest key development in Long Beach-based Pelican BioThermal's global transportation of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical payloads and will assist with the pharmaceutical sector's ongoing rapid response to the global pandemic.
'We are delighted to announce this significant partnership with Korean Air Cargo,' said Credo on Demand vice president Dominic Hyde, at Pelican BioThermal.
'Together we will continue to provide safe shipper solutions to meet the rising requirements of the life science and pharmaceutical sector,' he said.
With a global network spanning 121 cities in 43 countries, Korean Air Cargo specialises in pharma temperature controlled transport with 14 temperature controlled warehouses in Incheon, which acquired IATA CEIV Pharma certification.
