HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced that their East Med-America Service (EMA) service will begin calling Charleston, North Charleston Terminal instead of Savannah, for a period of six weeks.
This will begin with the Hong Kong-flagged 4,520-TEU Seaspan Chiba that is expected to call at Charleston on January 14.
The supply chain crisis has brought on serious congestion problems in the port of Savannah.
