HONG Kong's Orient Oriental Container Line (OOCL), a unit of COSCO, is to expand its service network for Japan and Philippines by introducing the new KTX4 Service to be launched on January 8, 2024, from Manila.
'KTX4 will enhance the network coverage between Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South China and Philippines, providing customers with competitive and reliable shipment options,' the liner said in a statement.
OOCL's statement also said that the KTX4 directly connects multiple ports in Japan with Philippines to cater for the demand in the market.
'Together with existing KTX suite services, oocl would provide a more comprehensive service coverage between Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South China and ASEAN countries,' the statement added.
KTX4 port rotation: Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Manila (North Harbour), Manila (South Harbour), Hong Kong, Shekou and returning to Osaka.
