JAPAN's Ocean Network Express (ONE) is to launch a new shuttle service - the Asia Latin America Express 4 (ALX4) - to address rising capacity demand for cargoes from Asia to Mexico's West Coast.
The ALX4 will commence with the sailing of one Reputation from Shanghai on August 16 with a port rotation of Shanghai, Busan, Lazaro Cardenas and returning to Shanghai.
'This new service will provide consumers a premium loop rotation for North Asia to Mexico commerce, as well as increased network coverage and frequency between Asia and Mexico,' ONE said in a statement.
'ALX4 complements our existing ALX1, ALX2, and ALX3 services to form a comprehensive network between Asia and South America.'
Recently, the Port of Virginia announced it is offering ONE's West India-North America (WIN) service, reports London's Port Technology.
