SWISS-ITALIAN international carrier Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is to launch its new Santana service from Asia to the North American west coast at the end of the month in Yantian and will remain in place until further notice.
MSC said it will start the new Santana service 'in anticipation of a continuous and strong Transpacific market demand,' offering added capacity and market-competitive transit times into the US West Coast, reports UK's Container News.
The Santana service's full rotation will be: Yantian, Shanghai, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Vancouver, Busan and returning to Yantian.
