SeaNews Newbuilding Price Index

The SeaNews Newbuilding Index measures changes in reported shipyard contract prices using a fixed, transparent vessel-segment weighting system and a base-100 time series.

All published series use the same versioned methodology. Missing observations are not silently redistributed; coverage and confidence remain visible with the data.
