CONTAINER traffic from China to Europe through kaliningrad Oblast via rail increased 5.5-fold during the first half, reports St Petersburg's SeaNews.
Kaliningrad Railway carried 47,300 TEU from January to June 2021, including 39,000 TEU multimodal traffic that went on to Europe by sea and 8,300 TEU that was transported via land border crossings.
