NATIONAL Aviation Services (NAS) in Jordan has successfully completed the Regulated Agent third country validation process (RA3) for its air cargo operations at the King Hussein International Airport in Aqaba.
The internationally recognised validation and certification process ensures EU regulatory compliance for air cargo transportation to EU countries. The validation demonstrates that NAS is fully compliant with EU air cargo security regulations and standards, which include access control, cargo screenings, external and internal audits, among others, reports Wisconsin's AviationPROs.com.
NAS Jordan closely follows NAS Ivoire, NAS Uganda, NAS Liberia and NAS Kuwait which have all gone through this process and currently hold valid RA3 validations for their air cargo operations.
Globally, NAS has a presence in over 50 airports, handling seven of the world's top 10 airlines and operating more than 50 airport lounges across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
