INDIA has banned 43 Chinese mobile apps due to web sanctions targeted at China, reports Hong Kong's South China Morning Post.
The federal technology ministry feels the Chinese apps threaten the sovereignty and integrity of India. Previously, India has banned more than 170 apps for similar reasons.
The bans were enacted after an encounter with Chinese troops at a disputed Himalayan border site in June.
