HONG KONG's Asia Airfreight Terminal (T) has won Ground Handler of the Year award at the seventh edition of the Payload Asia Awards, according to a digital award ceremony from Payload Asia.
The award is given to an organisation that's maintained their excellence and resilience while keeping the supply chain connected amid a year of difficult challenges. It's T's first time winning the award.
Winners were based on online voting from customers, business partners, and an independent international panel of industry experts who assessed operational performance, customer service, product innovation, and scope of service offerings.
'When faced with a tough operating environment brought on by a global pandemic, any business will need to rely on its people and service partners to deliver on customer expectations. Thankfully for T, our colleagues were more than ready to rise to the occasion. In doing so, they helped T secure this tremendous honor that exemplifies our commitment to service quality and operational excellence.' said T's general manager Kuah Boon Kiam.
T has also been a significant role in developing Hong Kong International Airport as the world's largest international air cargo hub with 22 years of dedication, innovations, and investment.Dutch air shippers warned
