One of Europe’s leading sailing education organizations, Blue-2 The Sailing Academy, has partnered with Marina Pilot to begin its training operations in Turkey. This collaboration aims to raise the standards of maritime education in the region.

New Technologies in Maritime Training

Blue-2 is bringing its simulator-based training programs and digital learning tools, widely used across Europe, to Turkey. These programs aim to provide an internationally recognized learning process in sailing and captaincy. Simulators replicate real-time effects of environmental factors such as wind, currents, and speed, enabling trainees to safely learn harbor maneuvers.

Harbor Maneuver Simulator Introduced in Turkey for the First Time

First introduced in 2019, the harbor maneuver simulator will now be available in Turkey. This system equips captain candidates with skills for safe maneuvering within marinas, adapting to environmental factors, and navigating in tight spaces.

Training with Various Vessel Types

The training programs are not limited to sailboats. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice with catamarans and dinghies, enhancing their adaptability to different sea conditions and vessel types.

Certified Training Programs

Participants completing the training programs offered through Marina Pilot will receive the internationally recognized Blue-2 certification. These certifications not only boost captains' credibility in the maritime sector but also serve as a trust factor for insurance companies and charter businesses.
