GSBN and Tradelens vie to dominate digitisation of world shipping
THE battle for the container shipping block chain platforms heats up with GSBN (Global Shipping Business Network) rivalling a similar outfit called Tradelens, says Copenhagen's Sea Intelligence Consulting

Looking at the stated objectives for the platforms they are also almost identical, he said in a LinkedIn commentary.
Tradelens, backed by Maersk, CMA-CGM, MSC, Seaboard, SPIL and Zim, seeks to connect the ecosystem, foster collaboration and trust, drive information sharing and spur innovation.
GSBN, backed by Cosco, Hapag-Lloyd, Hutchison Ports, OOCL, SPG Qingdao Port, PSA International and Shanghai International Port Groups seeks to facilitate better digital connection and collaboration, improve visibility and create a data utility platform to unlock the value of digital transformation.
