A MAN has died after a gas explosion at Hong Kong's Terminal 8 of Kwai Chung Container Terminals, with his body thrown 10 metres away from the blast, reported the Hong Kong Standard.
It is understood the worker was pumping compressed gas into a dock bumper at around 9am when the accident occurred.
The man, who fell into a coma after the explosion, was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital and died after resuscitation attempts. Police are investigating the incident.
