THE European Environmental Ports Conference 2020 will take place on June 24 and 25 in Rotterdam accenting the theme 'Overcoming & Tackling the Major Environmental Concerns for the Port Industry'.

Among the delegates are expected to be representatives of ports, port authorities, terminal operators, policy makers, policy makers, NGOs, consultants, shipping companies and tech providers, tech providers, says ACI organisers.
Speakers include Albert Willemsen, environment consultant ICOMIA; Wim Stubbe, business development manager, Port of Ostend.
Overcoming areas of concern and the reason for this concern will be a focused of the conference as well as discussing the European Commission regulations in attempting to lessen the areas of concern.
Also discussed will ways one can overcome the environmental issues such as air, noise pollution and how climate change affect port assets and operations.
