DANISH Shipping and Emirates Shipping Association have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost maritime cooperation and foster innovation within the industry, reports the Manila Times.
Denmark and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are significant players in the global shipping sector, with Copenhagen and Dubai being major maritime hubs.
The MoU aims to leverage the strengths of both nations to advance maritime operations and drive innovation.
The agreement was signed during The Emirates Shipping Association's Maritime Leadership Program, held in Copenhagen in May, in collaboration with the danish Maritime Authority, Maersk and Danish Shipping.
This program facilitated the exchange of ideas and best practices between the two nations.
