CHINESE feeder service provider China United Lines (CULines) is opening up a new service connecting South China-Southeast Asia, according to UK's Seatrade Maritime News.
In partnership with Interasia Lines, culines will launch the new South China-Vietnam-Thailand service in mid-March, named as 'SVT' and 'SCT2' by the respective partners.
There will be two boxships deployed on the service calling at Nansha, Chiwan, Ho Chi Minh City (Cat Lai), Bangkok, Laem Chabang, Nansha. The first 1,756 TEU Interasia Vision is scheduled to start the first sailing when it departs from Bangkok on March 14.
This new 'SCT2' will provide CULines with a second weekly loop connecting South China and Thailand, which currently serves this route with two 1,900 TEU containerships.
