CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal sees new loops boosting volumes

THE terminal at Khalifa Port now offers over 20 international services connecting to 60 ports, with six new routes introduced this year boosting volumes 35 per cent, reports the UK's Seatrade Maritime News.

These new services have propelled the terminal past the milestone of handling five million TEU since its opening in December 2018.



Last year, the terminal implemented the first autonomous truck system in the Middle East, deploying six vehicles for loading and unloading.



'Looking ahead, Cosco Shipping Ports is committed to enhancing the Middle East hub port, developing intelligent port solutions, upgrading automation, and promoting green, low-carbon operations,' said China Cosco Shipping.
