Columbia Shipmanagement and Atlantis Tankers Announce Successful Transition of MT Atlantis Alhambra
Columbia Shipmanagement (CSM) and Atlantis Tankers are pleased to announce the successful management transition of the chemical tanker MT Atlantis Alhambra. The vessel is now under the technical management of Columbia Shipmanagement Deutschland, benefiting from the Columbia Group’s comprehensive integrated maritime services platform. Additionally, the ship will be supported by cutting-edge digital tools, including the state-of-the-art Performance Optimization Control Room (POCR).
The POCR operates 24/7 with stations across three global locations, providing real-time monitoring and optimization of the vessel's performance.
Atlantis Tankers will retain responsibility for the vessel's commercial operations, drawing on its extensive expertise in managing the business aspects of shipping. This collaboration reaffirms both companies' commitment to fostering strong ties within the Turkish maritime community while driving operational excellence across the industry.
The vessel handover, conducted in Istanbul in December, was a collaborative effort between the technical and managerial teams of Columbia Shipmanagement and Atlantis Tankers. Their combined expertise ensured a smooth transition, allowing the vessel to continue its commercial operations without interruption. This milestone highlights a shared focus on sustainable growth and ongoing development.
